Rev. Joel Grossman has supported and inspired the spiritual development of people from all walks of life for more than four decades.

 

His loving presence, nonjudgmental acceptance, and gentle guidance has greatly enriched those lives.

  • Spiritually-Based Psychotherapist since the late 1970s, drawing upon "Psychosynthesis," and "Three Principles Psychology" modalities. 
     

  • Facilitator of a Spiritual Support Group for people infected and affected by AIDS in the late 1980s.
     

  •  Leader of monthly "Spiritual Sharing Gatherings" at a holistic health center for three years.
     

  • Facilitator of the "Spiritual Support Group" for hospice workers and others, for seven years.
     

  • Ordained Interfaith Minister, The Chaplaincy Institute, 10/2000 (https://chaplaincyinstitute.org).
     

  • Founding member, and on the faculty of the Chaplaincy Institute of Maine (https://chimeofmaine.org)
     

  • Graduate of the "Lev Shomea Spiritual Direction Training Program."
     

  • Teacher of meditation since the late '70s.
     

  • Instructor of the Jon Kabat-Zinn "Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Program." 
     

  • Member of "Spiritual Directors International."
     

  • Hospice Chaplain since 2004 (current Director of Spiritual Services at Constellation Hospice for MA, NH, and ME).
